The Fuvahmulah Biosphere reserve is located in southern Maldives. Fuvahmulah, the unique island atoll in Maldives. Home of Tiger Sharks, Thresher Sharks and Hammerheads. The biosphere reserve is the country's only single island administrative atoll.
This atoll boasts the most diverse coral ecosystems in the country with its healthy habitats and unique coral sand beach formations. This atoll is unique due to its single island and its bowl form. Diving with sharks is exhilarating. You'll get to experience different shark personalities and learn their behaviors. I guarantee that you'll leave this trip more of a shark advocate.

TRANSPORTATION
Domestic flight timings change monthly, so it’s difficult to asses what international flight times to take. The good news is there are always two flights coming into FVM, and two leaving FVM back to Male. Depending on the international flight time you choose, the dive center will allocate a domestic flight for you.
CURRENCY
The Maldivian Rufiyaa is the official currency of the Maldives. The US dollar is also accepted everywhere, however change needed from a transaction will be given back to you in Maldivian Rufiyaa. Most major credit cards are accepted widely when shopping, however it may be useful to have some Maldivian Rufiyaa incase some shops only accept Maldivian Rufiyaa.
VISAS
Most countries in the world get visa on arrival. Your passport must have 6 months validity from departure date. You should check entry requirements for your specific passport.

Having taken over 100 guests on dive trips, she believes that her trips are all inclusive. Creating a safe space for divers, MER is a community for divers who are like-minded and want to dive together . All trips are organized and handled from A to Z through her and are especially arranged to provide the best possible dive experience.
